It seems so obvious now, but Beth was the first person I came across that pointed out the intentionality of the order of the R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and more). It would be great if everything you tossed in the recycling bin went back to the factory to become a brand new version of itself, but that is by far the exception, not the rule.
